Essential Oil - Marigold Tagetes

Marigold Tagetes should be diluted to 5% or less in a carrier oil. It can then be used as a chest rub for chest infections, coughs and catarrh. It dilates the bronchi, facilitating the flow of mucus and dislodging congestion and can be used in cases of skin infections. It has a healing effect on wounds, cuts, calluses and bunions thanks to its antiseptic properties. Tagetes oil is valuable in keeping insects at bay, and can help with parasitic and fungal infestation. Contains a high percentage of ketones. Tagetes minuta Flower Oil is the essential oil obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of the Tagetes. Has a rich, warm, earthy scent with overtones of fruit. Fungicidal, bactericidal, anti-fungal on feet. Ingredients: Tagetones, with ocimene, myrcene, linalol, limonene, pinenes, carvone, citral, camphene, valeric acid, salicylaldehyde among others.
